Letter from the President

Welcome back AABA! The Spring 2010 AABA E-board has been hard at work, creating more events and opportunities for you to expand your network, hone your professional skills, and to recruit for internships and fulltime opportunities.

This semester, we are inviting over 15 companies from businessweek.com's "Best Places to Launch a Career 2009" to attend our first ever speed dating event. Speed Date With the ‘Best’ is a unique event that allows students to conduct rounds of informational interviews with managers, recruiters, and other professionals in a speed dating fashion. We are also planning to host our corporate tours trip in the Silicon Valley, where we will be visiting social networking and technological companies such as Google, Yahoo!, and Facebook.   

We strive to continue to build on an excellent year after capturing Marshall's prized “Most Collaborative Event” with the Hospitality Industry Project for our Las Vegas Corporate Tours in 2008-2009 and "Most Outstanding Student Organization" award in 2007-2008.
